Brian Lewis founded Cockswallow gin with his cousin Ben Davidow in 2022. And built the company while overlanding across USA, and going on an ayauasca journey to Cusco, Peru. In 2023, Brian and Ben decided to get a California Liquor Wholesale license after talking to distillers in the bay area who were being poorly represented. Then they found Treecraft Distillery on San Francisco's Treasure Island and finilized the ginger and citrus forward recipe with Nate and Gordon. For 2024 we plan to self-distribute across the Bay Area, and help develop direct-to-customer sales for craft distilleries.
